About Me

Hello! My name's Jackson Dockery and although I'm working in the tough industry of New York show business, I am still a Midwesterner through and through. Both in my ability to somehow ALWAYS say the words "Ope sorry!" every time I bump into a commuter, and in my appreciation of simple everyday kindness.

NYU Tisch, Second City, and a Lifetime of Music

Whether it's improvising at Second City, studying acting / making movies for 4 years at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, or learning piano, drums, and guitar - I've always been fascinated with connecting to an audience as an actor and performer. Whether through humor, drama, or music.

Current Projects

I was just featured as a guest star on the new Amazon Prime Original Series Harlem


I am the manager of Brooklyn band Mary Shelley, we just released their debut album this year and are playing consistently all over the NYC area.


Before the pandemic I was acting in the Off-Off Broadway revival of Paul Downs Colaizzo's 2013 acclaimed drama Really, Really at the Gibney Dance Center.


I recently starred as a lead in the TV movie A Predator's Obsession: Stalkers Prey 2  which premiered this past March on Lifetime.
